  • Blue Swedish Rococo Style Commode
    Chest of drawers, Sweden circa 1940, in the rococo style with two drawers over two and french feet. Original hardware and no repairs. Secondary blue and white paint.
  • Gustavian Chest of Four Drawers
    Tall Gustavian chest of four graduated drawers, Sweden circa 1820. Marbled top and original hardware. The canted corner posts with fluted detail are supported by square tapering feet.
  • White Gustavian Three Drawer Chest
    Late Gustavian period chest of three drawers, Sweden circa 1820, in later white paint. Egg and dart molding around the top, canted corner blocks with reeding and rosettes, and tapering square feet. Original drawer pulls.
  • Neoclassical Chest of Drawers with Brass Detail
    Swedish three-drawer chest, circa 1840, in a clean, classical style. Drawer fronts are edged in brass and the tapering legs end in brass caps. Original hardware, secondary paint.
  • Large Gustavian Three Drawer Chest
    Period Gustavian chest of drawers, Sweden circa 1790, with original hardware and secondary paint. Two deep lower drawers with a shallower top drawer with applied lozenges. Dentil molding below the marbled top. Quarter-round corner columns above tapering fluted feet.
  • Simple Black Three-Drawer Chest
    Swedish chest of drawers, circa 1840, in secondary black paint. Brass hadware and fluted corner posts with applied rondels at the top.
  • Reeded Gustavian Chest of Drawers
    Period Gustavian chest of drawers, Sweden circa 1800, with reeded detail on the drawer fronts and on the sides below large carved rosettes. Canted corner posts above square tapering legs. Stepped detail on the apron. An unusual, extravagant piece.
  • Gustavian Three Drawer Chest
    Simple Gustavian chest of three drawers, Sweden circa 1800, with period hardware and later greenish-blue paint. Canted corners with fluted detail which is repeated at the top of the tapering legs.
  • Period Bow Front Commode
    Baroque commode, Sweden circa 1760, with original hardware on the three bow-front drawers. Cabriole legs and shaped apron. Later blue paint.
  • Early Swedish Chest of Drawers
    Country Swedish chest of drawers, circa 1780, in original salmon paint and early brass hardware. Three drawers and chamfered corners.
  • Gustavian Chest of Drawers with Fluted Detail
    Period Gustavian chest of drawers, Sweden circa 1800, with two drawers. Fluted panels with corner rosettes on the drawers, and an arched fluted apron. Dentil molding under the tops and iron handles on the sides.

    Austrian chest of drawers, circa 1760, with original paint-decorated surface. Original hardware, with replaced locks. Beautiful example of folk art mimicking the high Baroque style.

    This Swedish chest of drawers, c.1830, has its original grain-painted surface in mustard yellow, and its original green and white marbleized top. The two over three drawers rest on simple bracket feet. Original hardware.
