Two-Part Ceramic Lamb Mold

Pottery lamb mold in yellow ware from the Black Forest region of Germany, c.1880, in two parts. The lower section, which forms the front of the lamb, is supported on three feet and has handles at either end. The upper section, also with handles, rests inside the lower. Rich brown lead glaze. Excellent condition.
