Gustavian Style Kitchen Cupboard

This large piece was made to fit a client's kitchen, with fittings to her specifications. The model was the white period Gustavian library shown below. Based on this piece, we prepared the shop drawing shown and several finish samples. With the client's approval, our cabinetmaker created the perfect storage piece for her new kitchen. Please note the hand carving and the seeded glass.

If you look closely at the detailed photos, you will see that the carving on the reproduction is bolder than that on the original piece. This is intentional and was done to work properly with the larger scale of the cupboard. This is a good illustration of the care that our cabinetmaker takes with each design.
