Dalarne Hanging Cupboard

This single door hanging cupboard from Dalarne Province, Sweden, c.1820, retains its original polychrome decoration in classic Dalarne style. The interior features the original single shelf, cut away to accommodate the box lock, and the original hand-forged hinges. The small storage box is unusual. The cupboard is in excellent original condition.
