Large Horse from Rosenholm Castle

Large horse, circa 1820, with wooden frame and original painted surface from Rosenholm Castle in the north of Denmark. Original dapple gray paint and horsehair tail. Painted eyes with isinglass coverings. This horse was most probably a pull toy on which a toddler would ride.
