Iron and Brass Bench with Caning

We have no idea of the provenance of this bench, but Edith loved its look. Could it be French, perhaps nineteenth century, commemorating the Montgolfier brothers with its balloon motif back? In any case, it's painted iron with brass banding and a wonderful patina. The wooden framed seat with newer caning has been added at sometime in the past.
